About Achaeo3Data
The Archaeo3Data information system provides access to information about archaeological artefacts that have been collected in different projects and described in very different ways. The range of objects analysed, the nature and scope of the parameters monitored, the analytical methods used and last but not least - the research objectives differed in each research project.
Therefore, the results of the description of archaeological artefacts in the form of metadata records vary in scope and type of description. A certain unifying element is the data representations in the form of photographs and 3D models.
The specific metadata structure of the records is always described for each data source, currently the following platforms: NEOFIG.
Archaeo3Data is intended not only for specialists, but also for all researchers or students interested in the subject area, and it will also find its use among the more proficient general public.
Archaeo3Data is continuously updated to as individual platforms are added to the system.
